Matushevsky Yury Vladimirovich (1930, Kemerovo region - 1999, Vyshny Volochek).
Painter. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1960), was a member of art councils, a member of the bureau of the painting section of the Moscow Union of Artists. He graduated from the Irkutsk Art College (1949), the Leningrad Higher Art and Industrial School named after Mukhina (1955). Since 1957 he participated in regional, republican, all-Union, international exhibitions. His paintings have been sold at Christie's and Sotheby's world auctions. Personal exhibitions were held in Poland, Luxembourg, Belgium. The artist's works are in museums, galleries and private collections in Russia, Japan, Italy, USA, England, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Sweden.
