Artist, sculptor. People's Artist of Adygea, Kabardino-Balkaria, Cavalier of the Order of Arts and Literature. Honorary Doctor of universities in the USA, France, Russia, member of the New York Academy of Sciences. Awards: State Prize of the Russian Federation, gold medal "To the Worthy" of the Russian Academy of Arts, awards "Golden Sofit", "Petropol", "Golden Mask", the Order of Friendship, the badge "For Contribution to Russian Culture". Studied at the Secondary Art School at the Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Since 1962, he took part in exhibitions. In 1967, he founded the group of artists "Petersburg". Personal exhibitions were held in Russia, the USA, France, Germany, Japan, etc. Famous works: monuments to Peter the Great, the architects-first builders of St. Petersburg, "Dialogue of Plato with Socrates", "The Tsar's Walk", Vladimir Vysotsky, victims of terror, the sculpture "Cybele", tombstones on the graves of Savely Kramarov, Mikhail Manevich, Anatoly Sobchak, the monument "In Memory of the Forgotten War that Changed the Course of History", sculptural compositions "Man-Clock", "Children - Victims of Adult Vices", etc.
