Mokrov Nikolay Alekseevich (1926, Gorky region -1996, Vladimir).
Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. Studied at the Vladimir Art School under N. F. Zakharov, S. S. Preobrazhensky and N. P. Sychev (1948-1951). Worked as an artist-designer at the Gorky Automobile Plant (1946-1947), at the Khudozhestvenny cinema in Vladimir and at the tractor plant. Since 1957, a regular participant in regional, zonal, republican and all-Union exhibitions, as well as sales exhibitions organized by the Art Salon for Export of the Art Fund of the USSR, in the USA, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Finland, Canada, Japan, Lebanon. Member of the Union of Artists since 1967. The artist's personal exhibitions were held in Vladimir in 1983 and 1986. The artist's works are in museums in Vladimir and in many other regional museums.
