Maksyutov Rashit Garifovich (1925, Kislovodsk – 1996, Moscow).
People`s Artist of the Russia. Graduated from Surikov Moscow State Institute of Art in 1950 under G. Shegal and V. Tsyplakov. Became a participator of arts exhibitions since 1951. Worked in the genre of narratives and landscapes. Maksyutov`s landscape pictures are permeated by a strong lyrical feeling. R. Maxyutov`s personal exhibitions took place in 1959, 1960, 1961, 1975, 1985th in Moscow, in 1961 at Veshenskaya Cossack village. R. Maksyutov`s works are kept in art museums of Tambov, Penza, Irkutsk, Pskov, Krasnodar, Kostroma, and in private collections in Russia and abroad: in Germany, France, Japan, the USA.
