Ragimov Kerim (Born 1970)
Contemporary Russian artist. Painter, graphic artist, photographer. Recreates footage from newspapers and magazines, and from CCTV cameras. Graduate of the St. Petersburg Art School named after N.K. Roerich. Lives and works in St. Petersburg. Participant of contemporary art exhibitions in Russia and other countries. In 2000 he took part in the International Young Art 2000 program. In 2007, he was included in the list of “100 Contemporary Artists” of the Ice Cream by Phaidon catalog. In 2014 he participated in the European Biennale of Contemporary Art “Manifesta 10”, held in St. Petersburg. Ragimov presented his “Human Project” in 2004 at the Biennale of Contemporary Art in Shanghai “Technology of the Visible”.
