Ostroumova-Lebedeva Anna Petrovna (1871, St. Petersburg - 1955, Leningrad).
Full member of the USSR Academy of Arts, People's Artist of the RSFSR. She was awarded a medal at the International Exhibition in Paris (1937). She studied at the School of Baron Stieglitz, and in 1900 she graduated from the Higher Art School at the Academy of Arts in the class of engraving. Studied with I.E. Repin and P.P. Chistyakova. In 1898-1899 studied in the workshop of J. Whistler in Paris. Master of the urban landscape. The main theme of creativity is Leningrad and its suburbs. The revival of Russian woodcuts is associated with the activities of A. Ostroumova-Lebedeva. The artist’s works are stored in the State Tretyakov Gallery and the State Russian Museum, in many regional museums and in private collections abroad
