BEZALEL MEIR GUR ARYEH RARE EARLY ETCHING - JEWISH YEMENITE CHILD – SIGNED LATIN GORODETZKY
An early etching by famed Bezalel (Betsalel) artist Meir Gur Arye.
The etching is of a Jewish Yemenite boy, and is signed in pencil M Gorodetzky, Gur Aryeh's original family name.
Bezalel was an early 20th century Palestine groundbreaking school of art which created a new artistic language which influenced Jewish and Israeli art indefinitely.
Black ink on brown paper. 19x12.5 cm / 7.5x5 inch.
Very good condition. Not framed. Back side has remnants of old tape from past framing. Paper browned by time.
