Pair of marble and bronze bases, 19th-20th century
Dimensions: 112 cm x 29 cm x 29 cm. Elegant neoclassical pedestals in polished white marble, topped by finely chiseled bronze capitals. The sobriety of the classical lines, combined with the ornamental details in gilt bronze, give these pieces a majesty that makes them ideal for displaying sculptures or vases. The sturdy base, decorated with garland and floral motifs, provides stability and a touch of opulence, characteristic of the aesthetics of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
