Boulle Bonheur Du Jour cabinet, 19th century
Boulle Bonheur Du Jour cabinet ebonized from the 19th century. The top is adorned with ornate brass mounts, flanked by gilt brass caryatids. Below, the two doors, each lavishly inlaid with brass, slide open to reveal a polished interior with a single shelf. The Bonheur du Jour stands on elegantly shaped legs, with gilt bronze mounts and other inlays, ending in brass caps. This piece is in excellent condition. A beautiful piece of furniture that really shows the high standards of quality and attention to detail adhered to by 19th century craftsmen. Dimensions: 140x116x58 cm
