18th century Roman marble lion bath
Original 18th Century Roman Lion Shaped Marble Bathtub. Features the lion's head at the front and rings on either side, with a beautiful veined patina. These items were purchased by Victorian aristocrats of the time, who would take them home from their travels to show they were cultured and well-traveled, they were displayed in the study and used as talking points. Highly decorative. Size: 45x22x23 cm
