An American flask bottle from the end of the 19th century that was awarded to William H. Cullingworth. The bottle is made of silver-plated pewter with embossed decorations on both sides, and in the center of each one is engraved with English inscriptions: On the one hand: "With appreciation for service 31.3.1898, and on the other:" To our friend William Collingoort who was the postmaster. Collingoort was the son of an English trader and was appointed director of the Postal Authority twice between 1885-9 and 1894-8, and received the plac as a token of appreciation in 1898. Collingoort also took part in the 1861-5 American Civil War.
