A document of power of attorney from Maria Yaffe to Shenkar, September 1925. * Lodzia Textile Ltd. - founded in 1924 at 43 Nahmani Street in Tel Aviv, Lodzia Textile Company Ltd. "by a group of entrepreneurs originating in the city of Lodz in Poland (hence the name of Lodzia): Moshe Berlinski, Benjamin Guter, Yitzhak Sheinferber, Elazar Braun, Meir Danziger and Yehuda Moses. In 1925 the factory moved to Aryeh Shenkar, which turned it into a successful enterprise. In 1936 the factory was relocated to the Agrovank neighborhood (later to be one of Holon's neighborhoods) and became one of the most prominent factories in the Land of Israel during the British Mandate period. His product was sent to Asia and Europe. In 1963, Tibor Rosenbaum acquired 51% of the shares of Lodzia. In 1977, the company was listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and since then it has been a public company.
