Sefer Hanhagos Yesharos [Sefer Hamidos]. Alphabetically ordered, by Rabbeinu Nachman the author of Likusei Moharan, with Ma'alos Tovos that did not appear in previous editions and with Shemos HaTzaddikim. M.F. Poremda Press, Lemberg, 1859. Rare. 


[84] leaves. From leaf 64, Shemos HaTzaddikim with a special title page and on the last leaf, a prayer to be said after Shemos Hatzaddikim. Does not appear in the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book. With stamps of Eliezer Sirkis of Zgirez and Chaim Hacohen Kahn of Nové Zámky, Czechoslovakia. Faded owner's signature "Eli ben Meir Yehu[da]". 


Rabbi Eliezer Sirkis - Chassid, activist and none of the leaders of Agudas Yisroel in Zgirez who assisted, during the years 1928-1929, Rabbi Meir Shapiro in raising funds in Zgirez for Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin. Rabbi Eliezer Sirkis immigrated to Jerusalem, where he established an impressive private library of Jewish books. His diary and letters were printed in the book Ish HaEmunah (1979). 


Worn, semi-leather binding. Moth holes. Folds to the corners. Blemish to spine. Fair condition.
