The Art of Ballets Russe - The Serge Lifar Collection of Theater Designs, Costumes, and Paintings

Serge Lifar was a dancer and choreographer and the protégé of Sergei Diaghilev, who diligently collected paintings, costume designs and stage designs of the Ballets Russe. The book presents a selection of 188 paintings and 32 costumes from his collection. Very high quality images, most of them in color. English, 352 pages, 29X25 cm. Good condition, there is a tear in the front of the cover.
