WOODEN CABINET CHEST WITH CITY SILHOUETTE.
Tyrol.
Date: Ca. 1580.
Technique: Maple, walnut, oak, pear, partly coloured green. Iron.
Description: Rectangular body with side doors, five drawers and a square door in the centre. A false drawer with lock and hinged lid at the top.
The insides of the door panels and the fronts of the drawers with inlaid city silhouettes. The outer sides decorated with coffered panels, cubes and pearl bands. Hinged handle on the top.
Measurement: 24x30,5x20,5cm.
Underside covered with felt. Te lock for the top lid.
