LARGE PORCELAIN ENSEMBLE WITH MUSICIANS AND FEMALE WINEMAKERS.
Meissen.
Date: 1973.
Maker/Designer: Model M.V. Acier.
Technique: Porcelain, painted in colours, golden.
Description: On a mound base with rocaille decor a large group of a small putto with a bird, a
violinist with a wine bottle, a female winemaker with sheet music, a putto riding a billy
goat and a putto feeding the billy goat. Crowned by a pair of childlike gentleman with a
flower-filled hat and lady with a lute.
Measurement: Height 37cm, ø 17cm.
Mark: Swords mark, C59, cameo no. 66 and 163.
