Technique: Oil on fibre.

Notation: Signed and dated upper right: Segal. 1908.
Frame/Pedestal: Craftman's frame.
Provenance:
- Galerie Brusberg, Berlin
- Corporate collection Germany (acquired from the previous in 1988)
- Early work in vibrant colours that lend the still life a magical energy
- Segal was a co-founder of the "Neue Secession" in 1910, met Werefkin, Jawlensky and Arp at Monte Verità and became a member of the "Novembergruppe" in 1918.
