Ethiopian Coptic prayer scroll
Parchment scroll (9 x 154 cm), 3 narrow vellum strips, joined with vellum stitching, opening with a figure of an angel, in reddish-brown and blue tones, old text in black and red, in Ge'ez script, in two columns. Another miniature halfway. The outer margins well-thumbed and used. We add: amulet pocket book in manuscript, in a leather case (5,3 x 4,5 cm)
