Folio: [6]-CLXII [= 162] ff. Title in red and black within elaborate ornamental woodcut border, ill. with 16 woodcuts (at beginning of each satire). Printed in 2 cols, with Juvenal's text in larger type surrounded by commentaries in 2 cols in smaller type. (remarkably clean ff., probably washed, old staining at top inner margin of 1st and last quires, partly repaired holes in top inner margin of 1st ff. with loss of a few letters, some minor worming). Old vellum, flat spine titled in ink (a recasing, mod. endpapers). Very good copy
