MASSENET JULES: (1842-1912) French Composer. A good A.L.S., ` Massenet´, a large signature, two pages, written to the first and third page, 8vo, Paris, 8 th April 1899, to Monsieur Barnier, in French. Massenet sends a short message to his correspondent ` Dear great friend´, explaining that he would have rushed to Paris to meet him, and states in part ` I would have told you the success of the programme with all the persons we forwarded them with pride!´ Paper with a crowned Castle Mill watermark.
