Vetrogonskiy Vladimir Aleksandrovich (1923, Cherepovets Province – 2002, St. Petersburg).
People’s Artist of Russia, Active Member of the Academy of Artists. Studied in Secondary Arts School under Arts Academy. Graduated from Institute of Arts, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin in 1951. Professor of Institute named after I.E. Repin, Head of his personal art studio, faculty dean, art department chairman. Regularly exhibited in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum and many regional museums.
